Kendra’s Tribute to Tay

Taylor and I met on a youth trip, and we instantly clicked. She was a ball of energy and love. Naturally, she was someone I always wanted to be around. Taylor and I created a friendship that was so unique, and I don’t think I will ever have another friendship like we had.

We became so close so quickly, she had my back and I had hers. We told each other everything. We spent a lot of time together just laughing and we shared many memories. Her positive energy was contagious and I was always happy when I was around her. Even though Taylor and I’s friendship was short I felt like I had known her for a lifetime.

I strive to show love and kindness the way Taylor did, and I strive to be that bright light in peoples lives the way she was a light in my life. I see Taylor when I see the kindness of others — I see her in the sunsets, sunflowers, and rainbows. I am constantly reminded of her in all the beautiful things in this world, and in the love that is created within friendship.

I miss you everyday Tay Tay. I am forever grateful for all of our memories and for the impact you will always have on my life.
